Day 4 Snow Monkeys (Japanese Macaques)
After about a 15 minute walk we were
greeted by the sight of a couple of monkeys embracing on a bench,
their fur looked so warm and inviting. The larger of the two lunged
at Sei as he got too close. We continued along the icy path
surrounded by big trees on both sides we soon entered the park and
saw some monkeys recovering from the cold air by relaxing in the hot
pools, while others groomed each other by the side, all along in the
background was the symphony of youngsters chasing each other across
the rocks and over the river. Watching the monkeys in their little
family groups bicker with each other and cuddle each other was really
great.
The whole experience from the walk to
seeing the monkeys was a really good experience.
